Ford Tractor Philippines Showcases Mechanization Advances at PHILSUTECH Convention

The 71st Annual National Convention and Exhibition of the Philippine Sugar Technologists Association (PHILSUTECH) became a stage for Ford Tractor Philippines (FTPI) to present its latest agricultural solutions, held August 11 to 15, 2025, at the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug, Cebu City.

FTPI welcomed 1000 delegates, visitors and clients; offering insights on its products and services. Outdoors, the company displayed two latest tractor models, the YTO NLX954 and YTO NLX1404, both designed for sugarcane farming with high horsepower, reduced fuel consumption, and operator-friendly features for efficient fieldwork.

In addition to the exhibit, FTPI participated in the technical program through a presentation delivered by Vice President for External Affairs Mark Samuel Uy and Agricultural Engineer Flordeliz Ann Balog. They discussed farm mechanization strategies and shared best practices drawn from FTPI’s nearly four decades of industry experience.

With the theme “Resilient Together: Leveraging Technology and Policy Synergies for the Growth of the Sugarcane Industry,” this year’s PHILSUTECH convention gathered industry leaders, policymakers, growers, technologists, and suppliers for five days of exhibits, discussions, and collaboration.
