Ford Tractor Philippines exhibited during the 70th PHILSUTECH Annual National Convention & Exhibition, held on August 12-16, 2024, at the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug, Cebu City, Philippines. Hosted by the Philippine Sugar Technologists Association (PHILSUTECH), this much-anticipated event marked another step forward in the country’s sugar industry.
A remarkable group of business executives, sugar technologists, technology suppliers, sugarcane growers, traders, distillers, mill owners, and technical experts came together for the convention under the theme “Boosting sustainable technology innovations to advance competitiveness of the Philippine sugar industry,”. The four-day gathering was intended to promote knowledge sharing as well as the fortification of ties within the sugar industry.
FTPI, one of the exhibitors for PHILSUTECH 2024, set up a booth to cater to delegates and existing clients. They answered queries regarding their products and services during the said event.
Ford Tractor also displayed their new power units in the outdoor exhibit: YTO NLX954 and YTO NLX1404, both suited for sugarcane farming with their high horsepower and low fuel consumption. These units deliver outstanding performance and provide a comfortable driving experience for field chores.
Moreover, Vice President for Operations Mark Samuel Uy was joined by Michael Uy, Vice President External, in a technical presentation discussing ways to optimize sugarcane growth. With almost four decades experience of FTPI in the farm mechanization industry, Uy shared and expounded various comprehensive solutions to ensure the enhancement of sugarcane growth with best practices and the help of the right equipment.
