The GPULP Scholars Class of 2025 marked a milestone on November 30, 2025, during a momentous graduation ceremony held at Isabela State University, Cauayan, Isabela, with the theme “From Vision to Victory: Our Journey Continues.”
Dressed in Filipiniana and Barong attire, the atmosphere radiated hope and pride as we lauded a class of outstanding achievers—15 Cum Laude and 1 Magna Cum Laude honoree out of 31 graduates.
The celebration was warmly opened by GPULP Chairman Mr. George L. Uy, Jr., who highlighted Discipline as one of the core values deeply instilled in every scholar.
This was further strengthened by the keynote address of Mr. Winston Uy, President of Universal Leaf Philippines Inc., who emphasized the lifelong importance of Humility and Accountability. He shared how these values guide his leadership and decision-making, connecting them to the realities of today’s society.
The scholars were likewise blessed with the presence of guests from the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. The club’s president, Mr. Samuel L. Uy who is also the president of GPULP, encouraged the graduates to:
Never settle for less—strive to move from Better to Best,
Invest in true and sincere friendships,
And remain anchored in their values as they make decisions, noting that many brilliant people falter when they drift away from what is right.
Several scholars also shared heartfelt testimonies of how GPULP transformed their lives—not only by granting them access to education, but also by helping them rebuild better relationships with their parents, something they remain deeply grateful for.
Adding to the richness of the celebration, Dr. Maricel L. Dayag-Tungpalan, the very first GPULP scholar, graced the event to pass on the 4H Values of GPULP: Honesty, Humility, Helpfulness, and Harmony.
The celebration concluded with profound gratitude and a community lunch filled with joy, fellowship, and renewed inspiration.
